So little scrutiny of the banks in all the talk about costs of housing.
They rest their huge profits on the shoulders of mortgage holders.
Yet our supine economists punch down on planning as cause of ‘supply’ issues, never up at the banks
Our large banks are amongst the most profitable in the world & they've been making money from the financial stress of Australians for too long. It’s time the banks shouldered a fairer share of the costs facing younger generations entering home ownership.
