Smaller than an American Turkey, & not really a turkey at all. They're one of those mound building birds where they lay their eggs. In this case they then bugger off and the chicks have to cope all by themselves. They're also VERY well adapted to urban environments. This pair was in my backyard.

I think it could be interesting because the largest Dimetrodon species were large, well-armed predators in their own right, yet there's no shortage of big and powerful mammals or (actual) dinosaurs you could throw in for it to deal with.
