All of this. I also want to add that, in my research, I found that a lot of “inconsistencies” in a victim’s story actually came from gender bias affecting investigators’ record keeping and interview methods.
Just a reminder that people don’t always realize they were raped in the immediate aftermath. It can take hours, days, months, and even years to realize you were raped, and it doesn’t make it any less true. There are many kinds of responses, including fawning and trying to appease your rapist

Gotcha—let’s dig into that step by step.

1. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼 𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵, because I turned you into an amorphous lump of flesh. You’re not just immobile—you’re immortal, and you feel only anguish.

2. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺. That makes total sense—it’s a natural human impulse, and you’ve been through a lot.

I think part of why the old-school autism researchers are frustrated by the rise in diagnoses is bc they can't separate the disabling comorbidities of autism from the baseline cognitive styles of autism, and because they think of it as a linear spectrum of disability instead of spokes in a wheel

So to me the question should not be "are you autistic enough to qualify for this diagnosis" vis a vis functionality under capitalism; rather, we should ask "to what extent are these minority characteristics and the friction they create negatively impacting your well-being?"

And we already know the study’s results were falsified, that those playing guards were instructed to brutalize ti get that result, & when a similar study was taken without that manipulation, those in the guard role were kind. But refutations never circulate as far as convenient false findings. 😔
This is pointless and gross.

The Stanford prison experiment already stands on its own. And the reason it was never performed again is because it’s completely unethical by today’s standards.

We already know things are bad. Making it into entertainment is disgusting.
Netflix has announced a new reality series titled ‘THE NEW STANFORD PRISON EXPERIMENT’.

The series follows 30 participants who enter a real prison and are randomly assigned as guards or prisoners. They must see if they conform to the roles or if morality wins.

I've found that this attitude goes hand in hand with a failure to realize that every single issue that is now labelled "radical trans activism" was a compromise trans people won with those in power that power is now reneging on.

I believe in bodily autonomy.

I support the right to die.

But when those in power judge worth based on economic output, programs like this will a
be weaponized against the disabled.

We are seen as a drain on society.

A negative on a balance sheet.

We deserve the right to LIVE with dignity first

This is why we say a capitalist society can’t be trusted to ethically administer assisted dying.

If it was considered unethical to suggest death to someone with terminal illness, why is it ok to do it to the disabled?

Why are people having it pushed at them in lieu of treatment?

MAiD (Medical Assistance in Dying) in Canada was originally only for terminal illness

It was expanded in 2022 to include the disabled

When that expansion occurred, the safeguard preventing doctors from suggesting it was removed

It used to be illegal for doctors to suggest it

Now it’s encouraged
