We should just hold our own advisory poll, to give us something solid to work with. We just dont call it a Referendum. Westminster might well throw a hissy fit and refuse to engage, in which case we'll be spared the Broon/Darling effect. That'll be a plus!

That's exactly what I was saying to my husband earlier. And, that Burnham/Labour would never follow Scotland in this because they refuse to emulate anything Scotland has already successfully delivered - Bain Principle and all that utter stupidity.

If England's water is nationalised will Scotland have to bear a % of the costs even though we have nationalised water? Or will Scottish Water be incorporated in England's debt ridden new nationalised water company and will we will have to pay for England's shameful failure.
