i remember before season 2 aired that, altho i knew it’d be devastating, i wanted to see ed just completely go off the deep end. i wanted to see his rage & despair, & then see him work through it. & by god did we get it. it was everything i wanted & so much more.

i love you ofmd s2 🏴‍☠️💜
the poster for season 2 of our flag means death. it has the show logo with “max original” above it. in the middle is a photoshopped image of the faces of rhys darby as stede bonnet and taika waititi as edward teach back to back and angled downward to form the shape of a heart. in the middle and blended into their faces is also the image of a human skull straight on. behind them is a cross and a rose crossed, alluding to a skull and crossbones image. below the photoshopped image is “october 5”

Ed papering over the windows clearly trying to stay in the dark and make the cabin one big pillow fort but giving up halfway thru the project. So real.
Ed is talking to Frenchie. In the background you can see two windows that have been papered over and the other two are not.

Stede doesn't fully understand why Ed giggles and peels off the banana stickers to stick on Stede's jacket every time they shop together. He just rolls with it because Ed is cute.
