the glp-1s are getting some of this too. the better a medicine works for making a patient able to avoid an oppression (especially one that someone's making a buck off, like the weight loss industry is on fat people) the more it is perceived as "cheating" to use it
the reason adhd treatments are stigmatized and antidepressants aren't is because they work better for the people they help
