Autism explicitly counts as a qualified disability, and I’ve heard of folks self-asserting they qualify with ADHD (which seems plausible, but talk to your doctor and/or accountant)

TIL there’s tax-advantaged bank account (ABLE / 529A) specifically for disabled folks. It’s primarily get around SSI savings limits, but even if you’re not on SSI, if you qualify you can contribute $20k/year w/ tax-free growth if withdrawn for qualified expenses (which includes food and rent!)

Recovery goes really well! Painkillers are messing up my sleep schedule really bad but I can deal with that!
Will have to keep pushing this occasionally to help cover room and board while I find a new job once this is all done!
