Well they finally did it. DOGE got rid of my friend Anne, the only remaining person at the web design system for the entire US government. The replacement appears to be AI-generated code with no dedicated human oversight.

Trump is a world-historical villain who's putting us all in extreme danger, so put him at the center of this story. Dems can highlight how Trump is actively using DOJ and EPA to help AI data centers steamroll communities, and vow that a Dem majority will stop it. 2/

Trump's performance tonight in North Carolina is a disgrace and the crowd isn't into it at all, but you could've said the same thing about innumerable rallies of his in 2024 and then 77 million Americans voted for him anyway. I hope we're smarter now!

Immigrants are being denied or given redacted copies of their immigration records, documents which they need to prove their legal status in court. In some cases, the Trump Administration is even saying these records don’t exist even when lawyers know they do.

This is illegal.

Many noncitizens need immigration records the government has to prove their legal stay and resist deportation. The government is redacting and withholding those documents, lawyers say.

It's fascinating, to me, how many columns and articles were written after Biden's withdraw from Afghanistan about the looming humanitarian catastrophe that Biden caused and how many fewer were written about Trump slashing US humanitarian aid still being sent there from $3B/year to $0 in 2025.
