I ask these questions constantly. We have decent goals, targets and strategies in London but there’s no real consequences when we expose they’re not being met.
Everyone seems stuck in a soup of business as usual, budget restraint and fear that challenging car first culture will worsen division.

Why aren't newspapers - even the supposedly conscientious, well-meaning one - encouraging people to see this? It's absolutely vital. Stop giving Farage and other hateful trolls space on your pages. Write about something positive. Use the small influence you still have and be part of the change.

This is absolutely fantastic. As Chlöe says, politics is just a game to some politicians. A way to exert power and line themselves up for comfortable well paid jobs in the future. They can’t fathom that not everyone is like them. This shouldn’t come as a shock but I’m voting ✅✅ @greens.org.nz

Actually all cycles should be exempt from Vat.
It would be an easy thing to do. Would help many get a bike and they make the user healthier with every trip. Especially when fuel for cars is expensive. If we can cut fuel duty then why not?
