My #DrawEdTeach, which is actually just tracing and coloring Ed Teach with too dark a beard, but. I still think he's pretty.

Feeling the need to join in #DrawEdTeach weekend. My drawing brain has been offline for a while, so I'll put this golden oldie in until I see if I can make something new

My contribution to #DrawEdTeach
I'm not a digital artist; this was totally out of my comfort zone & my pencils were SCREMAING at me from my desk as I created this 😅
But it's always fun to try something new & since joining the #OFMD fandom I have become so inspired to create ❤️ I thank you all!

My skills are rusty and there’s a lot I don’t know about using Procreate, but here’s an attempt at a pencil sketch of Ed Teach. He’s thinking about that bizarre little man who likes him very much. #OFMD #DrawEdTeach

Every time I mess around with a creative medium I’m not familiar with I hear Stede’s little voice saying “I’m just trying something new 🙂”

For #DrawEdTeach weekend, I went through my sketchbooks from autumn 2023, when pirates took over my brain and I found the fandom. At that point, I hadn't drawn anything since I was in my early teens. I found lots of experiments and mistakes and abandoned drawings and I love them all! #ofmdfanart
A photo grid displaying nine graphite (and maybe some charcoal?) sketches of Ed Teach. The first is a collection of Ed heads, one from Season 1 with a full beard looking down, the other two with his gorgeous updo from early Season 2. The next is a full-body sketch of Ed's reveal in Season 1 Episode 3. He stands, looking down (at the Gentleman Pirate presumably), his hair wild around his face. The third sketch includes two images of Ed from The Art of Fuckery looking frightened in the bathtub. The fourth is Ed sleeping on his back on a fancy sofa, his long hair draped over the arm of the couch, arms crossed on his chest, legs spread. The fifth is Ed being tortured by Ned Low. His arms are stretched above his head, wrists bound, mouth open (it's hot, I love this image, may redraw it). Next up, we have an abandoned portrait of Ed from the "You wear fine things well" scene. I must've been experimenting with charcoal, because one side of his face is smeared with black. The next image is an unfinished portrait of Ed with no beard. His face has some shading and detail, but his hair is just outlined. I think this is from the scene in which he's laying on the dock, waiting for Stede. The eighth image is just a sketch of Ed with a full beard, looking kind of suspicious and/or grumpy. The final sketch is an unfinished portrait of Ed with a full beard, turned toward the viewer's right. His face is scrunched and laughing. Only his eyes, nose, mustache, and mouth have shading and detail; the rest of the portrait is just sketchy line work.

It’s #DrawEdTeach weekend so I drew Ed Teach!

I am honestly really fond of this one, despite giving myself a challenge to do it in four hours or less (I did not succeed lol)

Haven't drawn anything new for #DrawEdTeach because the drawing spirit hasn't been with me for some time. But here's a coloured pencil drawing I made in 2023 instead.
A coloured pencil drawing of Ed standing on the deck of the Revenge looking out to sea. Izzy is next to him, looking at him. It's from the scene where Izzy says Ed needs to send Stede to doggy heaven.

Wow this was harder than expected 😅 soft pastel on construction paper (pencil sketch), all freehand, about 3 hours? For a project that needed to be done quickly, this one was the right choice 🍑

#DrawEdTeach as babygirl ✅
#OFMD #OFMDfanart
Full color digital sketch in a cartoon style of s2e2 Ed Teach being a certified babygirl. His long salt and pepper hair is pulled up in a messy bun, slut strands artfully “escaping”. He’s looking back over his right shoulder, smiling coquettishly at the viewer with literal hearts in his eyes while he twirls a tendril of hair around his index finger. He’s never done a thing wrong in his life.

don't worry, Stede's on-site to kiss it better
#DrawEdTeach #OFMD #OFMDfanart
Scan of a simplistic pen and ink sketch of a very angy Edward Teach from the hit television show Our Flag Means Death being kissed "all better" byt his boyfriend, Stede Bonnet. Ed's arms are uncrossed and his expression is one of conflicted confusion. How can he continue to pout when faced with such care and kindness. Stede calls it "The Stun Move II"
