Slander is spoken; libel is written.

But this isn't either of those. It's detailed reporting from a respected outlet with damning evidence.

And "most consequential Commerce Secretary in modern history" is as impressive as "shortest NBA player from Luxembourg"

It's today!
Sunday the 27th sees us supporting the wonderful Oldman alongside the equally wonderful Ami McGuinness at one of our favourite places in South Shields, Sea Change Café. Come along and support live music and an amazing, important venue.
Doors at 4pm, pay what you feel.

The far right are coming for football. We cannot let them get away with it.

Solidarity with Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Konate, and solidarity with players and fans of Sunderland who back @srtrcengland.bsky.social

I fear what's coming will dwarf the racism & hatred of the 70s & 80s.

One thing I can’t forget is that Nigel Farage used to hiss like a gas chamber to his Jewish classmates.

Says all you need to know about him.

No surprise that the London Times is carrying far right propaganda*. In Ireland RTÉ, for instance, presented a far right National Party member, as a ‘concerned local’ in a report on refugee centres. He wasn’t local or ‘concerned’. He was a terrorist who Gardaí advised me, threatened to murder me.
As journalism, what the Times has failed to disclose if it knew or reseach if it did not, is a grave, career-ending error for those responsible.
Or it would be if the Times hadn't become a propaganda tool for the far-right views and aims of its proprietors.
Utter disgrace.
A detail missing from The Times story… the woman who took the photo shared it to a Facebook group called ‘South east patriots’.

I am sorry, I may have said this before, but there really are moments when British politics are astonishingly naive, and I really think this may have something to do with the fact that the British have not experienced occupation, tyranny, displacemen within living memory.
WTF - first BBC question to Pat McFadden "Are you focusing too much on the protestors, and not on the issue that millions care about: small boats?"
