I'm amazed when white politicians in either party try a lazy con on African American voters, who are generally much more tuned in to the actual issues, much more aware of the real stakes than other constituencies and much more likely to overcome obstacles to vote to make assholes resent it

Remember when a lot of us said watering down safe GOP districts to try to gain more seats could backfire spectacularly?
