4/ That school is poorly led (she made that clear), but it isn't resources - alone. Yes, more money might help, but at the very top end of the $/student level, the effect would be trivial.

3/ She just couldn't come to grips with it (though there were early hints about leadership quality). Something is making it hard to recruit and retain (and fire) staff, maintain order and discipline and craft a good learning environment.

2/ While I value the perspective on race, it was selective. New York's PS 307 is not under resourced. In fact, the spending per pupil would rival most US universities, and is more than almost any of the top 100 public high schools in the USA.
