#18th&vines
This is my low budget "writing shed" solution, btw.

I have the fire pit for fall and a battery powered fan for early summer. There's a tarp over top covered by fake vines. Still too hot and cold much of the year, but big "18th century summer office gazebo" energy.

The flowers are found on Barbados beaches.
The vines on the wall are my recreation of Ed's yellow blanket in Anne & Mary's.
The pattern on Ed's chair is based on an actual 18th century wingback chair.

Your reminder that Sennefer, mayor of Waset/Thebes during the 18th dynasty reign of Amenhotep III, had the burial chamber ceiling of all, with undulating grape vines and woven tapestries giving shade. Full dude.

IT FEEDS is a super creepy supernatural story about a mother and daughter confronting a hungry demonic creature. Great scares, effective cinematography, and impressive practical effects. Highly recommend! On VOD April 18th. 🎥 #filmsky #horrorsky #panicfest2025

#ArtAdventCalendar day 5 🎄

This summer we went to England to visit our friend. His grandma wanted a Norwegian potato scrub, like she used to have. So I got a couple of plain wood stubs at the store and painted them with traditional Norwegian rose paint. #Art #Norway #rosemaling #tradition #scrub

I'll bet someone can't *wait* to be the 18th person to stick their grubby, unwashed hand in the tub and root around for some ash-covered Red Vines.🤢

Bought this dress and blouse used on ThredUp. The blouse was a teeny bit too short and the dress just slightly too tight. So, I split the front of the dress bodice, added steel bones, hand-sewn eyelets, and silk ribbon, and layered it over the blouse for an 18th century-inspired look.

Presenting: 18th century-style ribbon garters for besotted queer pirates in 3(ish) colorways. Turns out that all the lovely winners from this year’s Fandom Market wanted shades of teal, purple, or both -- the perfect accessories for burning down the yachts of fickle aristocrats! #ofmd #ofmdfanart

A pair of Japanese dishes with Kakiemon decoration made during the 18th or probably 19th century. With flowers and vines and ho-ho birds (or 'phoenixes' at the English factories). Not sure of the purpose of these rectangular dishes or how they were used, but they are nicely-decorated.
