#Audience's
i think the spectre of Skyrim 2, so many years later, looms so large in the entire audience's imagination that no studio on earth could release a game that doesn't disappoint everyone in some fundamental way. and that's best case. given everything with Microsoft we are far from best case

Oh he answered that last year: their official editorial policy is “publish work that challenges our audience’s assumptions” (code for “we hate our liberal readers”)

I was just saying yesterday that it may not convince one single voter to change their mind, but it's teaching kids to be angry about trans people. And maybe that's the whole point of them showing these ads out of their target audience's geographical area.

Given the NYT's reputation among the better educated it is amazing how insulting they are to their audience's intelligence.

The face Vega makes is the same as the audience's.

Million Pound Shot is obviously scripted anti-gambling, so I'm wondering if there's a different twist coming. Maybe something to do with the audience's reactions?

@phaun.bsky.social GPL S8~Episode 9!

The visit to Trade Mountain came with highs and lows for our girls! Marilyn wowed with her scatting skills, Purrrse learned she's no longer the apple of the audience's eye, Henry got a lesson in gratitude, and it seems everyone's a little drunk on Cheri Wine!

but scream is SO interested in women in the eroticization of their suffering and the projections placed on them by the audience's eye and by the men around them. sidney's final girl virgin status is a result of a traumatic encounter with sexual violence

I think the critique here is that if your benchmark for objectivity is the midpoint between ideas you end up with a hemispherical earth.

You need a model of reality to be rationally objective; you cannot replace that with a shifting midpoint based on an imagined audience's sensibilities.

Spotify is dogshit and an enemy of human freedom for paying Joe Rogan half a billion to destroy his audience’s ability to reason.

Nice to see Square finally leaning into it’s audience’s kinks

heh A little memory lane from when Twitter didn't suck so badly.

I held a poll on my then audience's favorite of my Eevee femboys. Poor Arby got last place.

He's a very sensitive plantboi.

Charlie has very kindly donated 10 Pet Gala tickets (22nd November, adorable celebration of our audience’s lil guys), free on a first-come-first-served basis! Just reply to this post & I’ll bookmark it to DM people the link the day before!
Lovely stuff, all done 👍

Second watch today. You’re right. I think it’s telling in some way that she becomes both the audience’s surrogate and Liz’s.

i'm not against the conceit in La Bola Negra of finishing a great writer's unfinished work in a kind of speculative meta-engagement with the material, but this film's prerogatives seem to me more about flattering an audience's contemporary politics than reckoning with those of a different age

What's beautiful about art is that interpretation and the audience's relationship to it is just as valid as the authors intent.

What sucks about art is everything I just said.

You mean to tell me that a weekly live show whose overall enjoyment is increased by drawing an audience *and* that audience's reaction changes its style to adapt to said audience? Where is my fainting couch.

I assume it was cut down for time as the run up and take off of a regular airliner before the very steep final climb might have strained an audience’s patience

my audience's gender changed a bit!

😡 evil. i want a perfect 33/33/33. #VTuber

Feeling the whole audience's tension release at the same time every time they laughed was really incredible. It brought out something I'd never seen in an audience for a movie either

He was so happy at the audience's enjoyment of the film. Funny and engaged and sharp. A few times he searched for the correct word but good lord. Incredibly sharp for 100 years old!

It's not (entirely) Chris's audience's fault. These people live within a media environment shaped by two-plus decades of corporate consolidation and cartelization to push a particular narrative at the expense of the truth. People don't see the independent judiciary because it doesn't get shown.
Sometimes people are just messing with me from the start of the day. This entire post is a Bluesky-imagined reality.

1. Judges have threatened — and, in Minnesota at least, imposed — contempt and sanctions.

2. Judges have shown their independence.
Just once I would like the judge to threaten ADA MCCoy with contempt.

All the tales we are about how powerful and independent judges are are apparently BS because Team Trump has done nothing but lie and disobey rulings for nearly 2 years without a single consequence at all.

Fresh slate every day
