That sounds great, I'll look into it! I don't think Bambam's issue is pain because he still seems so spry in every other way. I have seen him struggle to get up, or even try and miss. I think it's almost more of a cataracts issue.

I've been so unhappy about Bambam's veterinary care this year, the delayed blood work etc., and no matter how necessary, I experienced the extent of his dental extractions as a violence against him I failed to protect him from, so innocent people getting hurt makes sense.

Knocked out a kidney or UT infection, but there may remain an unresolved longer-term kidney issue. So, more tests, lab-work, and imaging to come! Expenses aside, not gonna lie, the extent of his dental extractions was kind of traumatic for me to contemplate. My poor little bubby's ouchie mouf!!

Just totaled up Bambam's veterinary expenses this year, going back to his annual checkup in May, and they came to over $2000! That's not even counting the almost $500 I spent on a year of NexGard Plus.

I'm really angry that she made me feel so small that I gave up advocating for my dog, and that is never going to fucking happen ever again.

Oh no—Fromm is one of Bambam's favorites! I have an open can in the fridge *right now* that I've fed him from the past couple of days. Fortunately it's not on the recall list, which includes only two products, neither of which I have ever purchased. Even so, very concerning.
Vet just called with Bambam's blood pressure results. The gabapentin brought it down to within the safe range for proceeding with the dental. I'll be so glad when this is over. Speaking of, we're now into the 3rd week of my place being re-sided. I know I've seen jobs go quicker than that.

Vet called with Bambam's bloodwork results. It sounded clear as mud—some levels better, some surprisingly worse, could be this or that—with the promise that it could potentially be clarified with a few more $500 tests/imagings. She'll email me a summary tomorrow & maybe I can make sense of it then.

Finished Bambam's antibiotics on Wednesday. Going back to the vet Monday for a targeted blood-panel to see how they worked. Anecdotally, he does seem more lively, but even more than that, less grouchy about being petted and cuddled.…
