A couple of weeks ago, the Osbourne family welcomed some of the biggest rockstars in the world and some ardent fans for a celebratory event to watch a preview of the new Back to the Beginning film (just released in theaters this week). It had the most talent gathered in one room since perhaps the Birmingham concert itself. In addition to Jack, Amy and Sharon Osbourne (no Kelly), attendees included Black Sabbath's Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, plus many of the other musicians also seen in the film: Metallica's Robert Trujillo, Tool's Danny Carey, Quiet Riot's Rudy Sarzo, Guns N' […] The post Inside the Osbourne's 'Back to the Beginning' Premiere and What to Expect from the Film first appeared on Music Connection Magazine.

While we continue working on a few long stories, a quick break for some good news. Sharon sent this on Sunday, titling it “Heroes in West Seattle”: Yes, we do have Heroes here in west Seattle: I am a handicapped person. I went to a store to buy needed items . At the checkout I discovered I did not have my credit card. I searched and searched my purse to no avail. I had $45.00 in cash in my pocket but the total bill was for $74.15. I was so upset and then a man handed me a 20-dollar bill and left the store. I was still not able to pay the bill when a very nice woman told the checker to simply settle the bill with her credit card. I was astounded! There are real Heroes here in Seattle! I do not not know this man or woman but I am very, very grateful for their help!. The store could not take my check and these two wonderful people refused to at least take my $45.00. Thank you, Seattle Heroes……………………………From Sharon

The official release of the soundtrack and concert film for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's 'Back To The Beginning' event is scheduled for December 11, 2026. The event, held at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 2025, marked both Osbourne's final solo performance and the last show by Black Sabbath's original lineup, featuring Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward performing together for the first time in two decades. Organized by Sharon Osbourne with musical direction from Tom Morello, the concert featured performances from Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Tool, Slayer, Pantera, and other notable artists. The event raised approximately £11 million for charity and was followed by Osbourne's death just over two weeks later at age 76. The upcoming release includes 4K footage, behind-the-scenes moments, video tributes from Dolly Parton, AC/DC, and Ricky Gervais, and a 'Deluxe Box Set' set for release on April 23, 2027, featuring memorabilia, collectibles, and a bonus HD Blu-ray. Sharon Osbourne described the event as a 'once-in-a-lifetime' celebration of Osbourne's legacy and the rock community, highlighting the genre's journey from being considered 'bastards of the music industry' to mainstream acceptance. The film and soundtrack aim to honor Osbourne's final performance and the historic collaboration of Black Sabbath's original members.
