I don’t have the energy right now to go into a blow by blow of how fucking wrong this is, but as someone who has been writing code for pay every week for more than 10 years and still refuses to use LLMs, this whole thread is deplorable to me.
Two things are true:
1. Claims about AI capabilities are overblown
2. AI has completely revolutionized software development, and will do the same to many other fields

This is very scary, BUT Sen Murphy did the right thing here. With strokes, time is absolutely critical. The worst thing a person can do is try to explain away their symptoms or ignore them. If your arm goes numb GO TO THE GODDAMNED HOSPITAL.
