#mechtober day 20 Omnis: love the idea, and my overall favorite mech is the Warhawk. Blood Asps, Mad Dogs (S Variant here for a laugh), Omni-Crossbows, Savage Wolves, and Novas are all good Chassis and the Rat-plar was fun and spoke to my inner Moulder/Mek/Doc/Haemonculus.

A collection of battlemechs, L to R, rear to front: a bright jungle camo Warhawk, a lime green Blood Asp with red Accents, a Pan pride flag Warhawk, a dark turquoise Templar with rat head and humanoid arm with pale skin, grey fur, and a dark green crystal sword, a St George's cross Mad Dog, a pumpkin orange Omni-Crossbow, a NATO forest camo Savage Wolf, and a pale blue Nova that fades to lavender in the recesses. The plastic Nova is surprisingly easy to give OG shoulder-hips as seen above.

It's got a kinda fun backstory: it's a fantasy 4X but set in a post-apocalyptic sufficiently advanced sci-fi setting, so all the magic is technically nanomachines. The Vaulters (best bois) are survivors from a crashed spaceship, they've got cute stuff like crossbows built out of laser rifle chassis.
