Just learned that the Chevrolet logo is supposed to be a bowtie. It doesn't look like one. There are pasta shapes that did a better job than Chevrolet's graphic designer

Not one of Chevrolet's bigger hits, but definitely a substantial seller was the Chevette compact such as this 1982 example. This one's diesel powered!

Okay while I'm sitting delayed on the tarmac, lemme list all the various software glitches I've experienced living with Chevrolet's 2024 Silverado EV RST First Edition:

-Indicating the vehicle is charging when literally not plugged into anything.
-Refusing to shut off after exiting and locking.

In time-honoured GM tradition, the Buick Skyhawk shared its bodystyle with the Oldsmobile Starfire as well as Chevrolet's offering, the Monza, shown here. This earlier brochure from 1975 features the Monza with a more formal 'Towne Coupe' notchback alongside the sporty hatchback style.

In the American market a 'personal luxury car' was usually a rwd hardtop coupé. Chevrolet's Monte Carlo entered this sector of the market in 1970. Its 3rd-generation model shown in this 1980 brochure was described as 'a trim, aerodynamically-designed modern, manageable mid-size car'. #weirdcarbs

Chevrolet's challenger in the 'pony car' class, the Camaro, was no longer the performance car of its early days by the time of this 1981 brochure, but the Z28, with standard 5.0 V8 (5.7 optional), still looked the part. There was also a luxury Berlinetta plus the base Sport Coupe. #weirdcarbs
