Lost some CRT time due to electrical problems, so for this #scanlinesunday I broke the "Break In-Case of Emergency" glass and pulled out a Metal Slug.

Protagonist Eri pilots a camel, using its side-mounted machine gun to turn enemy troops into bloody shredded wheat. Their mouths contort hideously as their final cries escape. A tank pops its head above a sand dune, quizzically. The camel is extremely chill.

Zooming through the forest like Konami's Rocket Knight, Eri effortlessly roasts nazi-coded baddies with her trusty pump action.

In the slime-slick rectal cavity of the alien mother ship, the captured Eri floats in a goo-filled membrane, looking rather peaceful despite her predicament. Green-skinned, mass-produced mutant clones swarm, insect-like.

a reference sheet of fio novalia’s current 3d model, az. az has tan skin & white hair with purple streaks. there are long pieces of hair in the front and it’s shorter in the back & completely purple underneath. az has long droopy elf like ears, with multiple piercings on both. they also have ram-like horns that curl back and under their ears. the horns are a dark grey and have a gradient to bright purple. they have one tattoo on each arm, a moon phase chart (not sure what to call it sorry) on their right, and a greek style pattern on their left. their arms and legs have a gradient to a dark purple color. az wears gold oversized glasses. their outfit is a black halter neck crop top and a black skirt with shorts underneath, and they have mismatched grey socks with knee high black boots. the reference shows 3 full body references: (from left to right) a back view, a posed 3/4 front view, and a right facing side view. on the right hand side are 3 expression show cases, captioned: (from top to bottom) “that’s so cool!” with a cute grin; “oh, that’s not…” with a side eye and look of mild confusion/disgust; and “are you serious?” with a look of flat annoyance.
