Medicine is not apolitical. The CDC (+ guidelines for HCP's) is always vulnerable. There was no science in lifting mask recs, etc, under prior admin - yet many HCP's took as fact. Depressing.

Tomorrow I'm gonna be the first patient from the hospital to receive an Omnipod insulin pump.
Picking up a sample kit tomorrow morning.

So it’ll be a novel for HCP’s virus rather than a novel virus. Unbelievably terrifying even if they know how to treat it and exponentially more so if they don’t. I just can’t believe any of this is real.

I start my HCP's core programme for Weight Management tomorrow...I'm quite anxious about it. New place + new people + topics surrounding food/eating can be quite triggering for me/us, potential to trigger out another alter, engage in disordered/destructive habits etc. 😖 I know it'll most likely

yknow what fuck it i called back the urgent care (the physician is seeing a lot of patients rn so they will call me back)
i was trying not to step on toes since i know how stressed hcp's can get, but if it takes me being a difficult patient to advocate for my health i'll do it

I think only one country is researching and using hormone implants (Australia I think) because HCP’s from every other country don’t think we’re profitable enough to research and develop them and don’t care about us

PS the province of BC is also starting to recruit, hire, poach your medical professionals too. Over 200 RN's so far. The campaign for doctors is just ramping up. We have already bled Alberta and Ontario dry of HCP's that wanted out of those regimes!
