This week I went to see Elsinore (the film about Ian Charleson playing Hamlet just before he died), and Juliet Stevenson was Sylvia-Syms-playing-Gertrude, which was of great interest to me because Sylvia Syms was the lead in Peter Pan, the first play I ever saw, at Manchester Opera House in 1966.
