In preparation for #JonathanHickman’s #Imperial series, I’ve been ripping through Hickman’s X work in the Krakoa era. What an absolute blast!

Currently in the midst of this full reread (I think for the 4th time) in prep for #TheFantasticFourFirstSteps and #JonathanHickman’s upcoming Imperial series at #MarvelComics.

Given Matt Shakman’s glowing endorsement of #JonathanHickman’s #FantasticFour run as inspiration for #TheFantasticFourFirstSteps, I’m surprised it wasn’t included as part of the initial read recommendation (pic 3 & 4). So anyway, add it…and read it.

Another possible clue for #JonathanHickman’s Imperial (see last post too) as pointed out by @ i_spy_a_symbiote is the pg from Timeslide #1 showing poss futures of Marvel Comics. “Galactic Leaders Assassinated”… 👀 Could have something to do w/ the Shi’ar or Kree/Skrull alliance (Hulkling & Wiccan).

Still waiting on details for #JonathanHickman’s Imperial project. Other than Nova/Nova Corps shown in the picture, have to factor in G.O.D.S., the Imperial Guard material he wanted to do but didn’t during the Krakoa run, as well as some of the cosmic threads during his X work.

#MarvelCosmic

Another great week on @Marvel Unlimited, w/ early releases for the #XMen. We also get more #VenomWar, a new #Predator matchup, & #JonathanHickman's take on #Wolverine. Plus #StarWars, Infinity Comics, & another #SpiderMan facsimile edition. #marvel #marvelcomics #avengers

With some new art out there from #IbanCoello for #JonathanHickman’s #Imperial, was hoping to see the #ImperialGuard but this does look like #Gladiator/#Kallark and a #Kymellian. Given it’s Hickman maybe we get something related to the Universal Inhumans/Light Brigade?

Might I suggest the comics prior to the movies? #JonathanHickman's #SecretWars. I ain't saying; I'm just saying. ✌🏾

Best comic I've read in months so far as story potential. Not surprising, coming from Jonathan Hickmancs mind. The fact that he reassembled the Illuminati for it & got Bryan Hitch on pencils doesn't hurt either. 😉
