Dagar som dessa fattas mig även Kao’s. Tänk att få gå ut och fira med en rejäl husmansrätt och så en prinsessbakelse på det, snarare än low fat pokebowl (non gmo) med raw kanelbulle till efterrätt.

@SenSusanCollins wasn't 'cleared.' @FBI files say emails back Kao's cash for a contract confession. The probe ran into 2025, until @realDonaldTrump fired the agents.

ProPublica Debunks Susan Collins’ Claims About FBI Anti-Corruption Probe
ProPublica revealed that the FBI was circling Sen. Collins over a defense contractor’s donations — until President Trump gutted the unit in charge. Collins has since mustered a defense with a series of incorrect and misleading claims.

I totally get it and agree with you. I have great respect for ProPublica's reporting.

Just saying that Trump has the power to pardon/commute Kao's sentence if Trump wants to do so and that gives Kao incentive to muddy the waters when it comes to the Susan Collins bribery issue.

Collins helped secure funding for Martin Kao's defense company. Kao is now in federal prison for buying politicians with campaign cash. The FBI agents digging into it got reassigned to immigration enforcement once Trump took office. Funny how that works.

Fed officials had Kao's confession, & the judge didn't give him a break for it. ProPublica corroborated his statement, which is better than just getting him on the record stating that he didn't lie under oath. At that point, he clearly had a motive to be truthful, which is why he provided docs.
