I WON’T GET TOO MUCH INTO STORY STORY BUT BASICALLY LOR’S DEAL is that they are very, very, very self contained and OBSESSED with like belonging completely to themselves. They won’t even play violin anymore because that belongs to THEM, ONLY THEM, not the world, not anyone else.

This was a fine set, but it was a shame that the side pairs were kinda traps. The infamous tribe we've heard hushed whispers of for years since the LOR's debut--Faeries--is only kinda supported here, and then when you play it, you're setting yourself up to stumble. Supported tribes were cool, tho.

Of the Unsundered, Lor was the most sympathetic to Emet-Selch...but it comes with the caveat that he got to them when they were having huge issues with the Scions during ShB. Elidibus, by the end, also had Lor's sympathy but dealing with him didn't hurt as much as Emet-Selch did

A question of the day about our three Unsundered Ascians (Lahabrea, Elidibus and Emet-Selch). Which one is your WoL the most sympathetic towards?
Bonus question: What about the Sundered Ascians such as Fandaniel and Halmarut? What about former ones like Gaia?

The long lasting effects of maternal and spiritual abuse
Honestly, when I started developing Lor's story was after my own mother passed and writing their backstory helped me make sense of mine. Also got inspired by Jane Eyre, which has some similar themes

if you could sum up your WoL/ oc’s story with a main theme, what would it be and why? did you consciously choose it or did it just happen?

Lor's team is mostly about raw power and strength with Aggron and Tyranitar. But let's not forget Alolan Marowak. I picture them quiet and content around one another yet loyally defending each other when it comes down to a fight.
