PEOPLE: - Yoshiaki Koizumi, age 32. Co-Director of Majora’s Mask. QUOTE: "Koizumi: Rather than horror, [Majora’s Mask is] more about strangeness. The world's setting itself is bizarre. The peculiarities and eerie occurrences in each region give an impression of getting close to unapproachable alien beings. On the other hand, in the towns where ordinary people live, we've depicted the shadows at the level of daily life. Although the elements that might seem strange to children and adults are different, we have made sure to weave both aspects into the game."

PEOPLE: - Satomi Asakawa, age 48. Character Designer for Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask, Spirit Tracks, & Skyward Sword. Character Design Lead for Twilight Princess . - Eiji Aonuma, age 56. Director of Majora’s Mask, director or producer of many other Zelda titles.. QUOTE: "Asakawa: I sent [my student film project] One Big Banana to Nintendo, and it’s a big reason I got a job there. After joining the company, I actually got the nickname ‘baby monkey’ because of the film! People at Nintendo would say, ‘If you need monkeys and animal characters, ask Ms. Maekawa!’ So naturally, I ended up handling most of the animal NPCs in Zelda, like owls and monkeys. The idea of the white monkey of Majora’s Mask was Mr. Aonuma’s idea, but I received the offer to design the character from Mr. Aonuma by name. … I think that the white monkey in Majora’s Mask actually is very similar to myself."
