Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, October 4, 2026
The Russian Ministry of Defense presented its main rhetorical framing of what will be Russia’s brutal Fall-Winter 2026-2027 strike campaign.

Oh, and shield gate time is halved, RIP Saryn.

This is very much a game mode where you fail in the build menu.

If you don’t coordinate based on the modifiers, you can actively screw over your team. In the Inferno mission mod’s case, it will literally make the mission too hot to handle.

A sneak peek of my mod's arsenal. This is only a fraction of what the full arsenal will have once it hits 1.0.

Spot on. It reminds me of this investigative piece detailing how the head of a company got a £240m no-competition MoD contract, then immediately joined the MoD's own industry board.

Great extra reading that backs up exactly what you're saying.

I've written about Palantir twice now. The first time, I traced how a CIA-funded surveillance company ended up running the NHS's data. The second time, four

The Russian strikes are not an actual response to specific events, however, and many of the MoD’s specific claims are blatantly false.

Gotta say, big fan of the Alchemistry mod's custom NPC :3c

Day 4 of #tober2026: A very quick one today. I decided to take one of the grenade designs from day 4 last year and turn them into sprites for a Rimworld mod I'm working on. Honestly, I've been putting off working on the mod's sprites for a while and now is the perfect excuse to make some.

I tried downloading a mod for Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix but Google blocked it because it was suspicious...even though the mod's page says it's safe to use according to Nexus Mods' virus scanner.

So is it a false positive or did I make the right call to not download it?

Pet peeve with XIV mods is the fucking names. Something will be like "Viera F Hairstyle 3 for all" but named some random thing like "Daddy's Succulent Butterfly". Like rn I'm looking at one that has what it is in the description but the mod's named after the professional curler Edin. Why? Who knows.

the mod's repo is public, sm64 itself has existed for a while before this recent stuff, it doesn't have the usual tells of ai stuff like having claude as a contributor, but the author's github account was made the day the mod was posted and they seem to have nothing modding/programming related-

The mod's reached 99 downloads on MCreator and 130 on Modrinth. I started this project as a hobby, mostly so I could play with things I wanted to have in Minecraft, but I'm glad there's many people enjoying what I enjoy.

While ARJtT may not have too many updates ahead, stay tuned for the next step!
Woo! A Roving Journey to Tellus got Mod of the Week on MCreator just in time for the 1.2 update! 🎊🥳🎊

Anyway, the best honest answer I can give is a "probably a bit less traction", sure. Once again, I do agree that HoI4 has a Nazi problem.

But, let me point out that the mod's player base has expanded consistently despite the absence of up to date German content for almost a decade.

"And once again - it should tell you something that the mods that juuuuuust slide under the bar for the banhammer *are the most popular.*"

Respectfully, isn't this making a point about the mod's content? You commented about the Russian and Chinese Civil Wars as content that's, in your view, absent.
October 4, 2026 at 12:49 AM
I think you are somewhat glancing off of the point, because I'm not making a point about the mod's content at all.

Let me put it another way: do you think - and be honest - that Kaiserreich would have gotten the traction it did if it had been named Commune de France: L'heritage de la grande guerre?
