#Morality~&~Humanity
"The things that will DESTROY US are:

POLITICS WITHOUT PRINCIPLES;

PLEASURE WITHOUT CONSCIENCE;

WEALTH WITHOUT WORK;

knowledge without character;

BUSINESS WITHOUT MORALITY;

SCIENCE WITHOUT HUMANITY;

and worship without sacrifice."

~ Mahatma Gandhi

Sen. Booker’s speech was a substantive and moral account of this moment. He did not read the phone book. He did not babble.
For 24 hours @booker.senate.gov laid out a detailed, damning, and critical narrative of truth, history, politics, morality, humanity.

What will you do?

Religions and the religious do not own, or have monopoly on, morality.
Morality belongs to humanity. You don’t need a god to know what’s right and what’s not.

The Seven Social Sins are:
Wealth without work.
Pleasure without conscience.
Knowledge without character.
Commerce without morality.
Science without humanity.
Worship without sacrifice.
Politics without principle.

Donald Trump is not someone to be respected, admired, or appreciated. His morality is atrocious. His actions toward others are reprehensible. He is a bad, unethical person and I will never demean my humanity — all of humanity — to claim otherwise.

Imagine being a moderate Republican and getting outflanked on decency, morality, and basic humanity by these four nutters

Ben & Jerry's has passed the litmus test for humanity, morality and social responsibility. Will other corporations do the same?

Still one of the clearest articulations of why decency shouldn’t need divine endorsement.

Morality isn’t borrowed from religion, it’s proof of our humanity.👇

Not just your politics - your morality, your values, your humanity.
6.
End the siege. End the weapons shipments. End the lies. Call this what it is: a genocide.

And if your politics cannot confront that—then your politics are worthless.

In furious solidarity,

How you express empathy is how I measure your humanity and morality.
Love is love.

Hearing Jack Smith restores hope that there’s still a chance for the US. It’s an ever-weakening chance, but it still lives in Americans with decency, morality & humanity.

Media is dead. Responsible journalism is dead. Morality is dead.
But don't RIP. Fight back and bring back humanity and sanity to US.

Trump is not just the worst president, but the worst US citizen of my entire lifetime. A world historical failure of humanity and morality. He and his wicked entourage have burdened us with the task of repairing his damage and eradicating his evil legacy for the rest of our lives.

CHARACTER MATTERS
INTEGRITY MATTERS

DECENCY MATTERS
KINDNESS MATTERS
MORALITY MATTERS
HUMANITY MATTERS

Our children are watching.

Biblical god drowned most of humanity. I’m pretty sure my personal morality surpasses his. 😂

It stopped being political ten years ago, it’s about morality, sanity and humanity.

I’m just a middle aged woman standing in front of the American flag wondering where all the morality, integrity & humanity have gone….& saying “WTF” a lot

we are not going to survive the onslaught by encouraging each other to be terrified by it to validate our morality and humanity or by attacking anyone who urges against that.

And anyone who tells you otherwise is not normal.

These are the people who make phone calls to protect their kids when yours go missing. These are the people who think you breathing is a political issue rather than one of morality or basic humanity.

My patience has run out for the certain sort of media person who is Addicted to Takes and has lost all sense of truth, morality, and humanity.
Ben Smith: "What you saw with Mahmoud Khalil is that in some ways he is *less* vulnerable than Jimmy Kimmel. The people who are most vulnerable are the employees of big consolidated megacorporations—"

Chris Hayes: "Yeah, although he's about to get deported."
