No chance then - she was editor of Panorama programme smearing Labour as antisemitic, along with deputy editor (?) of Newsnight's Voldemort + Russian hat for Corbyn fiascos

How can we trust BBC News when the person now appointed to lead it was in charge of Newsnight's smear campaign against Jeremy Corbyn?
NEW: BBC elevates one of its most trusted troubleshooters to oversee BBC News.

Rachel Jupp will start in the role soon. BBC journalists had grown frustrated at delays/lack of direction.

Her gargantuan task - trying to arrest the decline in trust in news

Today's #TheWrap is a program for Tory ****s. #Newsnight's program is, yet again, stuffed full of Tories, including the woman who warned @greenparty.org.uk members not to elect @zackpolanski.bsky.social because she wants to retain the Tory voters who got her elected. The Green campaign is sabotaged.

The only way 'leftists' can challenge the scapegoating of pensioners by MSM editors is via social media and winning enough votes to make it impossible for #Newsnight's editor to gag @zackpolanski.bsky.social. Unfortunately, @greenparty.org.uk account isn't doing its job. #VoteGreen #BackZack

slightly gobsmacked by #Newsnight's avoidance of the question, esp with Douglas Alexander. Why should Scottish pensioners contribute to an England-only care service.

DA given a free ride to affirm Labour's Unionism in face of obvious anti-Scottish (& Welsh and NI) policy.

MAGA pundit Caroline Sunshine floored CNN NewsNight’s panel Monday with a bizarre analogy claiming that the economy is “fat” and that President Donald Trump’s deportation of illegal immigrants was the “Ozempic” needed to solve the problem.

Newsnight’s foreign-policy “experts”: Steve Baker, ex-Tory Brexit/NI minister with no foreign-policy or defence portfolio; Tricia McLaughlin, a political comms operative; and a National Security Adviser from a decade ago.

One onetime expert, two party pundits. Is this the best #Newsnight can do?

That's a lovely tribute, she was rather unique on the media circuit. Those late night review show appearances were so great. Taking no shit didn't mean being loud or obnoxious.

“If I hadn't met my gay friends I would be a suburban SUV-driving granny. They taught me the value of insurrection and fun. Nearly 30 years on, I'm still that 25-year-old, on top of some bar, in one of those vintage dresses, dancing with those guys."
