Braced myself to watch #TheTalonsofWengChiang over the past week ahead of the first of the #NinthDoctor's homages to it. For all that is good, bad, and fucked up about this one, Christopher Bahn's AV Club writeup is a good overview. (1/3)

The great thing about the 20th anniversary of the #NinthDoctor's first season is that he is very much my Doctor. I was born in America only about five years before Rose would've been, #TheDoctorDances was the first episode I ever saw, and I adore #ChristopherEccleston's unique take on the role.
