This reminds of a time I went to a movie (PTA’s Inherent Vice) which The Wife and I found extremely funny and we were laughing a lot. This one white dude in a baseball cap kept looking at us angrily every time we laughed and scowled so much at the movie’s end I thought we were going to scrap.

Public school pta’s have to hold fundraisers to help pay for school supplies, materials etc. Tax the billionaires and give the people free universal early childhood education, Medicare for all, paid leave etc.

Opening of PTA’s MAGNOLIA-ass event
The guy who dined and dash, ran into the street, and then got hit by a car, whose driver then pulled a hit-and-run, is my new favorite local story of maybe ever. www.yourcentralvalley.com/news/crime/f...

Fantastic film, but when I think of PTA's broader range of films, I think I'd pick Magnolia as my favorite.

And I’m sorry but Alden Ehrenreich’s character is more than an homage to John C. Reilly’s character in Magnolia; it’s the key to understanding Weapons as Cregger’s tribute to Magnolia and PTA’s movie being in the same genre. Cregger is saying he felt seen, but also that he saw. Game recgnizes game.

One of our PTA's fundraising rewards was a pie in the face for the principal. The kids got to see it today at assembly and loved it. I don't remember a ton from second grade, but I do vividly remember our headmaster falling into a dunk tank. We are all born as little maniacs.

Silent auctions are what our schools do a lot. Our school's fall festival is next week, and it's the PTA's biggest fundraiser. We get swanky silent auction packages that I can't afford, but I still bid. 😂

Everyone else had their chance in the past year, so now that PTA's #OneBattleAfterAnother is going to be 1 year old in a few days, I took MY shot at reviewing the Best Picture winner on my "Have You Ever Seen" podcast. Next Monday, I cover Kurosawa's Yojimbo

Good morning. Peter Weir’s Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975) and PTA’s Phantom Thread (2017) have incredibly similar—beat for beat—openings.

But up and coming (read: improving). Something similar happening with respect to test scores there.

The other is essentially great outcomes, parents not necessarily that super-involved but they contribute heavily to the PTA financially. PTA's funds are basically an endowment. They pay for extra
