#Ra'am
If Israel were actually a democracy, and all Arabs under Israeli rule could vote, Ra'am/Joint List would be forming the government. But Israel isn't actually a democracy.

As Americans vote in the most important election in decades, in Israel it appears that the cruel corruption of Bibi Netanyahu is at an end. Arab parties (the Joint List and Ra'am) are expected to back Eisenkot pushing him above the threshold for victory.

Americans, now it's your turn!

Netanyahu Ra'am bloc is funnier

everybody gangsta until record turnout in south carolina brings higher then expected seats in the SC state legislature for ra'am and the joint list

Netanyahu will be out this week. Israel’s Arab parties will tell Isaac Herzog, the Israeli president, that they will support the Zionist opposition bloc in forming a new Israeli government. Both the Joint List and Ra’am will recommend that Eisenkot, former IDF chief of staff, become prime minister

And also, if UTJ flips, Eisenkot can get above 61 (the majority in the 120 member Knesset) without The Joint List (Ra'am is not an antizionist party, The Joint List has subparties that very much are.) - Yashar + B'Yachad + Yisrael Beyteinu + Democrats + UTJ + Ra'am = 63
October 29, 2026 at 6:23 PM
unless one of Netanyahu's current coalition partners flips, which is both also possible but also has its own problems (the haredi parties won't join lapid)

So if lieberman really means he'll stick with Eisenkot even if he needs Ra'am & the Joint List to get to 61...
November 2, 2026 at 1:29 PM
For example, the claim that it isn't requires a belief that Yair Golan, who is currently loudly insisting that Ra'am and the Joint List should be part of a governing coalition in Israel, isn't a Zionist (which he very evidently is)
November 2, 2026 at 6:07 PM
literally everyone sane in the Israeli opposition is like "we should work with the Arab parties" and meanwhile their western supporters are comparing the JL and Ra'am to the AfD lmfao
October 30, 2026 at 5:59 PM
Ra’am and the Joint List, presumably.
November 2, 2026 at 2:58 AM
I'm asking seriously. The very fact that Palestinian participation in government is predicated on Palestinian pre-acceptance of second class citizenship is the evidence of a racial ideology at the heart of the state. Ra'am being the house Arabs does not absolve this.
October 31, 2026 at 9:40 PM
Yeah. Unfortunately, while also saying he won't support a minority government or sit with Ra'am or TJL

Asked how he sees that working he went with "Likud members could defect" which ... he can't actually mean right? Right?

Do we think El-Sayed is a Joint List guy or a Ra'am guy?

"Adhérer aux valeurs de la Déclaration d'indépendance"; "Accepter un service militaire, national ou civil pour tous les citoyens"; Reconnaître le Hamas comme organisation terroriste"). Ra'am vient de les valider et la Liste commune annonce un "soutien sans participation".

Each party leader recommends a PM candidate separately, and Lieberman said this knowing that the JL and Ra'am both said they'll recommend Eisenkot already.

The Hebrew expression for this, following a bra ad from 40 years ago, is "walk with and feel without."

Following the tactics of Trump and Bolsonaro, Benjamin Netanyahu is claiming that Arab parties "stole" Israel's elections after his party lost its governing majority.

I don't mean to be rude or to dogpile but it is funny that people say Ra'am is more moderate. On what basis? There is basically only one answer and it is a bad one.
The joint list already said it is willing to discuss but this will be a very hard pill to swallow for the Jewish public. RAAM are more moderate and are already in discussions with coalition members.
