That's why we were able to still go in it in the late 80s/early 90s. But how sad it only took till the late 90s for it to close 😖 It was only 7 years after we got married in 2002 that manchester city council let Heaton Hall go to rack & ruin. Its always so short sighted of them!

it is a vision of a good and welcoming and healing america, a vision that has been and is still rejected by far too many americans — but a vision of an america that can still exist, if only you are willing to fight for it
My take is that having a Muslim immigrant preside over ceremonies commemorating 9/11 in New York City is one of the beautiful things about America.

If the proposed changes - which I am not fully sold on - come into force, there will be a narrow set of claim rights that by design are less generous than those arising from marriage or civil partnership. I think that kind of fairly minor change is not going to lead to rack and ruin.
