Across #Kashmir, fish kills are multiplying as sewage, waste, blocked water flow and rising temperatures degrade freshwater ecosystems. A 2020 expert panel found 70% of Srinagar’s sewage flows directly into Dal Lake, while residents stepped in to clean dying springs themselves.
