#StarTrekENT's
First we watched #StarTrekSNW's "Shuttle to Kenfori" and now we're watching #StarTrekENT's "Impulse". :-)

I know, I know, we're all very excited about some alien crewmembers seen in the Enterprise shuttlebay in #StarTrekSNW's "Tomorrow's Enterprise" but nobody is talking about the Axanar officer in sickbay ⬅️, a species first seen in #StarTrekENT's "Fight or Flight"➡️! 1/2

It took until #StarTrekENT's "Zero Hour" for this to finally be confirmed. So, hearing this clearly stated (again) in #StarTrekSNW's "Orders of Magnitude" made me gasp and happy! 😊 2/2

The second hand shop on Starbase 80 in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "Starbase 80?!"⬆️ has an NX-01 hat (#StarTrekENT's "Broken Bow"↙️) and a Kelvin universe dress uniform hat ("Star Trek Into Darkness"↘️) for sale.

Here are two Torothans (or natives of Toroth), one seen in the 22nd century in #StarTrekENT's "Desert Crossing"➡️ (the awesome Clancy Brown as Zobral) and an unnamed Torothan 1000 (!) years later in the 32nd century in #StarfleetAcademy's "Kids These Days"⬅️.

The USS Athena hiding in the atmosphere of the gas giant Beithir V in #StarfleetAcademy's "Rubincon"⬆️ reminded me of the Enterprise NX-01 inside the atmosphere of the gas giant hiding the Suliban Helix in #StarTrekENT's "Broken Bow"⬇️.

Several antique Klingon ships of the same type as Goroth's ship in #StarTrekENT's "Bounty"↙️↘️ are seen on Qo'noS in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "A Farewell to Arms"↖️↗️.

I'm obviously sad that there will be no more #StarfleetAcademy after season 2. I very much enjoyed the show. But I'm lucky enough (in contrast to how I felt after #StarTrekENT's cancellation) that I know that I will get up tomorrow and keep on doing research on Picard's crystal... 🧵 1/2

The magazine also reveals the class designation of the ship that was formerly called "Archer-type" at Memory Alpha and EAS: the USS Archer is a Gral class ship, named after Ambassador Gral from #StarTrekENT's "Babel One" and "United". :-) 2/2

The MIDAS array model (created in 1999) must now be one of the longest serving CG models on #StarTrek. It was seen in the 22nd century as Yosemite 3 (#StarTrekENT's "Zero Hour"↖️), as the MIDAS array in the 24th century (#StarTrekVOY's "Pathfinder"↗️)... 🧵 1/2

By popular demand: here are shots of Thelev's intact ↖️ and broken left ↗️ (fake) Andorian antenna in #StarTrekTOS' "Journey to Babel", Shran's intact ⬅️ and broken ➡️ antennae in #StarTrekENT's "United" and Erica's intact ↙️ and broken ↙️ Andorian antennae headband in #StarTrekSNW's "Human Best Friend".

This was my "Eureka, they got it exactly right!" moment in #StarTrekSNW's "Shuttle to Kenfori"↖️😊: The Klingon skeleton features a honeycomb like ribcage, just like Dan Curry's 1998 Klingon anatomy painting ↗️, made canon in #StarTrekENT's "Affliction"↙️ and "Divergence"↘️ (auction photo: 2nd pic).

Same kind of vibes: Kovich and Burnham in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Red Directive"⬆️ and Daniels and Archer in #StarTrekENT's "Shockwave II"⬇️. 👌

This familiar round wall decoration first appeared on #StarTrekTNG in season 1's "Angel One"↖️ and then again in "Redemption I"↗️. It will be seen again on the Scimitar in "Star Trek: Nemesis"↙️ and then one more time in #StarTrekENT's "The Council"↘️.

There's a Vulcan meditation lamp in Spock's quarters now in #StarTrekSNW's "What is Starfleet?"⬇️. Tuvok owned a similar lamp (#StarTrekVOY's "Body and Soul"↖️, "Endgame"↗️) as did T'Pol (#StarTrekENT's "Breaking the Ice"⬅️, "The Forge"➡️). 🧵 1/2

We rarely see sea-going vessels on #StarTrek but both #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Acclimation Mil"⬆️ and #StarTrekENT's "First Flight"⬇️ (the shot being re-used numerous times in later episodes) feature such ships, always close to the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

Here are all the shots we get of the 23rd cent. Orion interceptor in #StarTrekSNW's "Level-Five Transporter Accident" (1st pic). I love how this is a logical evolution of the 22nd cent. Orion interceptor from #StarTrekENT's "Borderland" (2nd pic). I've compared the two ships in a collage (3rd pic).

This shot from #StarTrekSNW's "The Sehlat Who Ate Its Tail" shows the patches on the XCV-100 spacesuits. The yellow shoulder mission patch features Leonardo da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man", previously seen in #StarTrekENT's "Storm Front II"⬆️ and #StarTrekPicard's "Et In Arcadia, Ego I"⬇️.

Did you notice the purple tea that Vulcan-Uhura and Vulcan lapdog Beto are drinking in #StarTrekSNW's "Four-and-a-Half Vulcans"? I bet that this is plomeek tea, as first introduced in #StarTrekENT's "Singularity". It's purple, like Chapel's plomeek roots/rubers. I wish someone could confirm!

Earlier today, I rewatched #StarTrekENT's "Demons" and "Terra Prime" (you'll find out later why 😅) and I was very moved by Archer's speech towards the end of the episode. I'd love to see how his story continues in #StarTrekUnited and I'm keeping my fingers crossed! 🖖 🤞

I forgot that Livingston is not only referenced in dialogue in #StarTrekTNG's "Chain of Command I" (Get that fish out of the ready room.) and "All Good Things" (I suppose you're worried about your fish, too.) but also by Riker and Troi in #StarTrekENT's "These Are the Voyages". :-)

All of the Defiant bridge overhead displays in #StarTrekENT's "In a Mirror, Darkly I+II"⬅️ are based on Enterprise overhead displays from #StarTrekTOS ➡️. For the ENT episode, the classic displays were updated and animated. I'd never noticed this cool tribute if I hadn't put in all the research!
May 20, 2025 at 7:15 PM
... #StarTrekDS9's "'Til Death Do Us Part"➡️ and #StarTrekENT's "Twilight"↘️. An no, I'm not forgetting "Star Trek II". That one is a high-tech gadget different from the one I posted about yesterday. 2/2

The awesome recreation of the Enterprise-D Observation Lounge in #StarTrekENT's "These Are the Voyages"➡️ features the Enterprise-E Observation Lounge table with labels with four lines of LCARS buttons instead of the usual 3 lines used during the run of #StarTrekTNG ("The Pegasus"⬅️).

The front section of Relga's new type of Klingon Bird-of-Prey, as seen in #StarTrekLowerDecks' "The New Next Generation"⬆️, is a re-use of the Klingon D5 battlecruiser (not the tanker variant) front section, seen in #StarTrekENT's "Judgment", "The Augments" and "Divergence" ⬇️.
