Rem says "I'll check the walls, maybe there's a torch we can use. In panel 2, Rem is holding an unlit torch. He shouts "Found it!" and Nix holds up a piece of tinder and a flint. She says "Good. I got some tinder on me, I'll light it." In panel 3, the torch is lit, and Nix is seen looking at a masked person in the dark. She simply says "Oh."

This is the lamp I will use to continue to learn and explore.

The sad reality is that we can’t stop these bloodsuckers because the Supreme Court’s Citizen’s United decision lit the tinder that enabled Corporate America to totally torch then capture our government 🍑🍑🍑

We possess the technology to create products that nearly never break. We were doing it in the 70's & 80's.

Then came 'planned obsolescence' - intentionally designing products to become obsolete or break quickly within a set time frame.

This is that- but in reverse.

August: The timing isn't ideal, granted, but with a torch in hand, your men will be able to see a ways ahead. Leif: I... don't believe we have any flint or tinder handy. A GENUINELY CONCERNED PERSON It took awhile but I soon found the perfect spot. I started with the tinder - dry leaves, pine needles, birch bark. I gathered up some twigs and criss-crossed them on top. Then came the logs, a nice dry mix of beech, ash and oak. Just for fun, I added some paraffin, to guarantee ignition. Finally I left matches, a lighter and a blow torch. Then I walked away. Imagine my surprise when the forest burnt down. I did try to warn people. I said all it needed was a spark.
