#Vauxhalls&Opels
Factoid: Late 1999 saw a facelift for the Omega B (known as the B2).

The B2 would prove the last of the long line of big Opels/Vauxhalls which for Opel could be traced back to 1953.

Rovers are red
Vauxhalls are blue
Opels are yellow
And Triumphs are, too.

GT7 has added Porsches (yawn) but no Opels or Vauxhalls, no Lotuses, no Triumphs, no Cadillacs, no Mercurys, no AMCs, no Kias, no Isuzus, no Daewoos, no Koeniggseggs, no Bentleys, no MGs, no Saturns, no Rolls Royces… 😭

No Saabs or Buicks too, but GT6 didn’t have those either, so it’s a wash.

Stellantis. How screwed are they? From the perspective of a UK car nerd who used to know every single make/model/trim on sale, I genuinely can't tell the difference between Vauxhalls/Opels, Peugeots or Citroens any more. They've all merged into a single homogeneous gloop of mediocre blandness.

This is kind of like re-badging Opels as Vauxhalls here, which is a thing 😆

Part of GM yes, but for some reason Opels are called Vauxhalls in the UK and UK only when they have been the same cars since the mid 1960's

The Opel Tigra also warrants a mention. Slighly less shit (good engines, cool looks), but even before leaving the press fleet parking lot I knew the chassis was terrible. That was thankfully the last of the "bad handling" Opels/Vauxhalls.

I am SURE the owner of this motor-carriage will be one of those to die on the hill of Vauxhalls being rebadged Opels instead of the truth which is the other way round. Never mind that GM bought Vauxhall a century ago.

In a similar vain, no Vauxhalls in Ireland, only Opels
