“Protect women’s sports” by abusing and assaulting girls. Gee, aren’t we all surprised they never cared about women’s sports?

Wow it’s literally the biggest thing that we need to work on to protect women’s sports
NEW: Facebook is hosting large numbers of AI videos depicting sexual abuse of young athletes by older coaches.

We reported pages posting this material from a normal FB account -- and in response, were told by Meta that the content hadn't violated its standards.

Meta Is Refusing to Remove AI-Generated Videos of Coaches Inappropriately Touching Young Athletes When Users Report Them
Meta said AI videos on Facebook of coaches abusing young athletes didn't violate its standards. When we followed up, it changed its mind.

"Trans women are dominating women's sports" has become conventional wisdom, without any evidence whatsoever.

The fact that most people don't give a shit about women's sports (and that goes double for the "save women's sports" people) has a lot to do with it.
I don't think a ton of people engage with what it feels like to see trans rights get bodied on a night with historic "good guy" turn out, all while we're expected to be all "Well, at least..." about some glass-eyed ghouls who specifically ran on "Don't worry, we'll take away these freaks' rights!"

I like to add one more to this: codify women’s reproductive rights.
Great piece & IMO, we stay on all their necks until we:

expand the SC
undo Citizens United
Medicare for All
protect trans folks
tax the rich (esp billionaires)
abolish ICE
shore up voting rights
yeet private equity into the sun
real regulation on tech, AI, surveillance
anti-trust a real thing again
Court reform should very much be on the agenda for Democrats this term.

As I noted in this piece, a lot of Democrats have drawn the wrong lessons from the history of FDR's court-packing plan.
