Electric bills are way too high — particularly PG&E — and plug-in solar is a great way to lower those bills. I’m authoring legislation to allow Californians to easily use these devices; it’s currently quite hard, if not impossible, for people to do so.
California bill backs plug-in solar as PG&E rates soar, and renters could save on power

The truth is that San Francisco municipalizing their electricity system and breaking off from PG&E doesn't hurt anyone in the rest of California. PG&E's business hurts people in California. The lack of CPUC action to effectively regulate PG&E hurts the people of California.

PG&E is having a massive outage in San Francisco. Waymo robots aren't handling the traffic light outages well. Cell service is also out is some places.

No surprise as Waymo robots & cell have repeatedly failed during power outages.

CPUC regulates both Waymo and PG&E (Profit Greed & Explosions).

PG&E basically blackmailing California, saying it delay $2 billion in grid investments to support renewable energy and housing if legislators don't get back to work protecting its finances: www.sfchronicle.com/california/a...
PG&E says it will scale back planned work after California wildfire reforms fail
PG&E CEO Patti Poppe said delaying the investments means the utility won’t have to borrow as much money at high rates that end up raising bills for customers.

PG&E should not exist, it should have been nationalized after they started the Camp fire which killed 85 people
PG&E demanded it not be liable for causing wildfires. The Legislature did not agree. PG&E’s response: Punishment by extending already ridiculous timelines to hook up new housing and clean energy to the grid. It’s straight up extortion. 🧵

So both Uber and PG&E?
In case you’re still undecided about your vote for California governor, Uber wants you to vote for Xavier Becerra.

Uber—a major Trump supporter—is telling Spanish-speaking voters to support Becerra because…he’ll take on Trump.

¡No mames!

Vote accordingly!
