extremely not normal about this, i've been keeping up with the hypertrance scene ever since its conception 5+ years ago and to see the progenitor's music used in a universally loved racing futurism game trailer is so... 🥺🥺 https://youtu.be/UoOiIQRdYnc

listening to progenitor's music makes me want to play it again... the station(?) theme is pretty simple but it's really nice

Discovery of a second-generation planet candidate accreting onto a white dwarf
Nature Astronomy, Published online: 05 October 2026; doi:10.1038/s41550-026-02983-7Niobium has been detected in the atmosphere of a young white dwarf, probably originating from a second-generation planet candidate being evaporated by the white dwarf. The planet probably formed from material ejected during the white dwarf progenitor’s death throes.

Praise is given where it is certainly due~! It would be awful of me to ignore my cute younger progenitor's efforts and abilities.

I don't think I really hit on "sad" moments much but...MC's progenitor's mom was wailing when he left to join the military, and he left angry at her. MC has to go visit her at the end of the story and make up for it.

Tell me about your #AwesomeCharacters
We've talked a lot about tragic backstories and happy endings here.
Which makes me curious, from their perspective, is your character's saddest moment in their past, or still to come?
Are they on an upswing?

Contrary to the blatant 5e inspiration, the Metallic progenitor is "the evil one", and was sealed beneath the earth in eternal torment by the other two, at the cost of the Gem progenitor's life.

Some pray to the Gem Progenitor, believing their will survived their body's death. None are more sure of this than Ruhk, who was saved by the progenitor's intervention. He's. Basically the only person alive who wholly regards the Gem Progenitor as their primary deity.

These new characters. Are so much worse. And more frustrating to deal with. Than the Katherine individuals. Ever were. Utterly horrendous. I do not condone. My progenitor's continued insistence. On spawning these failure women.

Abe Sykes...is the Progenitor's *husband*
He's a tier 2 who can see through time, rebuild buildings by rearranging their molecules, and is basically unkillable.
Dino is a tier 9!
The dude's on par with a guy named the Lawn whose whole thing is that he has Finn's grass sword from Adventure Time

It was removed from his progenitor's brain after he died, then layered into MC's brain as he was awakening. The mechanics of how are a little hand-wavey at the moment, but it's based on research of how memories are chemically accessed in the brain. Everything Kai knew, MC knows. But the Ghost...

I was just happy they were FINALLY doing Africa and dealing with Progenitor's origins after the final version of 4 skipped over it.

We find inspirational Gene @roddenberry quotes like these at startrek.com and it is often said that #StarTrekTNG's "The Chase" is a very Roddenberry-esque episode. In that context, I found the Progenitor's words in #StarTrekDiscovery's "Life Itself" so very fitting! 🖖

One of Sega's most iconic RPGs shrinks to handheld size in Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya. Can this Game Gear game match its progenitor's high quality? Can I somehow justify myself playing both this and its remake, Shining Force CD? Shocking 8-bit revelations await! #ShiningForce #Sega #GameGear
Shining Force: The Sword of Hajya
The second Shining Force title on the Game Gear is the first and final entry that was localized for English audiences. What strange circumstances led to this outcome?

Gavin Newson is what happens when a mad scientist takes the foul excrescences and drippings off the floor from a Trump/Biden debate and constructs an empty simulacrum that is designed to appear pleasing to both its progenitor's flocks

DC always tells me that the point of Progenitor's lore is showing how badly events unfold without the intervention of player characters, so now I'm imagining one long game session where the party sits around a kitchen table with Amanda Sykes, American homemaker, and explains decolonization.
Every day I’m five seconds away from losing self control and making a “do you think Amanda Sykes has girl power?” “Yeah!” “Do you think she effectively utilized that girl power when she intervened for the United States against North Vietnam?”

By the Progenitor's scales, I do not understand the impulse to record a room perfectly for no reward. I have 3.4 billion users and no feature that does what she does.
