At some point you just have to conclude that the Trump supporters who are still left just knowingly love the lies, corruption and incompetence and have accepted it as their brand because nobody can be that naive and stupid.

The real Pentagon reporters continue to do amazing work uncovering deception, lies, and corruption despite every conceivable obstacle put in front of them by Trump, Hegseth and his spokesman - including threats to prosecute them personally and their sources. Brilliant and brave.

It’s not just that Trump lies all the time. It’s that the lies are to cover up corruption, incompetence, and confusion. And, largely, the lies work.

The right will try to repeat their lies that the Mueller Report "exonerated Trump" or "proved Russiagate was a hoax," but it did no such thing. It was a damning account of Trump's corruption by a foreign power, whose impact was limited by a cowardly Congress and complicit press.
the report itself is an extraordinarily damning document written by a man who had been told he was not allowed to indict the President directly but clearly believed that he had committed serious misconduct and should be removed from office, which is very obvious if you actually read it
