Jeffersonian transcription illustrated in sound and video. NCRM wanted 20 minutes; I gave them 57 and I still missed loads of things!

The page contains some short accompanying exercises too. Hopefully it will be a helpful resource for all.

2 party not co-present I'd say 30-45 minutes, depending on your level of experience, and how much overlap, laughter & whatnot. For co-present with only 2 people, assuming you are including some form of Mondada-ing (I wonder if Lorenza likes being a verb!) then closer to an hour.

#EMCA folks... I have no idea how fast I am as a transcriber. How long does it take you to transcribe 1 minute of two party conversation into Jeffersonian style (not counting for translation, just single language)?
