I really wish bluesky would switch to using twemoji. There are still open source forks, there's really no reason for them not to use it

I hate how many news outlets joined bluesky only to stop posting within a few months. Like how hard is it to just repost your tweets to bsky? I get this place is a hellscape at times but I wanna be able to qrt clickbait headlines where my friends can actually see them 😔

wish i didn't have to do this all the time but just put in a grocery order which is going to make paying rent next month quite a stretch and i've already had to miss work several times this week due to being sick... also ran out of day/nyquil and would be nice to get those ko-fi.com/caelestis523...

So I was getting my meds and this 50 year old lady was like "Oh do you have a dog?"
"Wha?"
"Your collar!"
I was so bewildered and just went "No?"
Then she asked "but there's a dog tag?"
And not thinking i went "No, *I'm* the dog"
She looked shocked for a sec and then went "Oh YOURE the dog!!"

Petting a dog "nicely" is not always a nice action. If a dog does not want to be pet, is not wagging, is not responding at all, there is a line where continuing to pet that dog becomes harrassment. Don't be surprised when you get bit even though you were "just being nice."

Bill Waterson made a safe bet by having him say such a high number bc even after 30 years of inflation, supply chain disruptions, and economic crises, $8/gallon is still terrifyingly expensive. Tbf it's way more likely to actually happen now but if anything that makes his threat even scarier

YouTube removed the dislike button from shorts which is terrible by itself but they also moved the comments button up and put the bookmark button in its place which is infuriating for muscle memory bc if you accidentally press it you have to go through 3 clicks and a loading screen to unsave it

BPD + AuDHD is so funny cause like half the time I feel like everything's fine and I literally cannot shut myself up and the other half of the time I stay completely silent and am convinced that everyone hates me bc I failed every single social interaction I'd just had
