Just another friendly reminder that if you want a free digital copy of the novel I wrote about a wedding photographer who goes to a destination wedding and finds her ex in the wedding party, you can let me know here. Also, you can read an excerpt!

Hello, again. This is a brief missive before I resume regular programming with a post next week. Sometime soon, I intend to publish a novel ...

1992 Brewers had John Jaha, Dante Bichette, Greg Vaughn, Chris Bosio, Cal Eldred, and Doug Henry, who were all absolutely galoot-coded. Elite galoot collection.

This comic was my first encounter with @bransonreese.bsky.social, and it may still be my favorite. I imagine the rabbit triumphant. Defiant. Daring god to do his worst.

Not original thought, but guessing this is a side effect of ubiquitous cigarette smoking.

My alternate definition of "horrible": Strained my groin in a bike accident one summer as a teen, and was examined by a nurse. Everything was fine. Flash forward 2 years to junior prom, my date's mom is driving us to the venue and we're talking when we simultaneously realize the mom was the nurse.
I appear to have created a permission structure for posting your most horrible accidents. Whatever, go crazy. Let’s hear it. In what obscene ways have you maimed and impaled yourselves?

Also, when the athletic trainer called my mom to let her know what happened, he made the mistake of opening with, "Hi, I'm so and so from such and such high school. There's been an accident." *My mom shouts unintelligibly* "Oh, no! He's sitting right here!"

During baseball practice senior year, I was in the shallow outfield when our coach topped a ball he meant to hit as a practice fly and the resulting liner got me flush on the ear. 8mo later, my hearing was back to 97% and doc said I was lucky because when he first saw me I didn't have an eardrum.

it is unbelievable that just, as a politician, this guy still absolutely has his fastball. put him on the ballot in 2028 and he wins like 60 percent of the vote.

Anyway, The Phantom Menace did $924M in global box office and then three years later Attack of the Clones did $654M in global box office, so maybe put two and two together here, folks.

This is also reminiscent of my film-major "Mulholland Drive"-loving college roommate sincerely insisting that "'Freddie Got Fingered' is a surrealist masterpiece, only no one knows it."

Directionally, I see how you got there, but no, it is not. Don't say things that are untrue.

I, too, am an elder millennial. Every single person I knew considered the prequels to be subpar at best and about 75% of the Star Wars fans I knew who grew up watching tapes of Eps 4-6 didn't bother seeing Eps 2-3 in theaters after the disappointment of TPM.
This is objectively, verifiably untrue.

I would like to note that despite these people thinking the world and the web started in 2015, there is actual evidence of sentiment readily available right now! For free!
