Spent my lunch break feeding lil bits of crust to a small gang of sparrows that gathered under my park bench at the mall. I'm shocked they came so close, bold little beggars

Omfg Resident Evil was just as fantastic as I hoped!! It was like watching a playthrough of a scary resi like RE2 or 7. Cregger definitely the perfect ratio of horror and comedy for a resi movie, I'm excited to see it again tomorrow :3

'Salem's Lot by Stephen King
A Stephen King classic I have not picked up yet! All I know is it's probably set in Maine and something about vampires? Time to find out!
A lightly battered second hand copy, as I think Stephen King books are meant to be read

I think I wanna bedazzle a ouija board
No idea what colors yet and I've never bedazzled anything but it seems fun

Rest in peace to one of the best to ever do it.
I heard, like, a dozen raindrops on my window this morning after I woke up
It only lasted a few second but man it was so nice
I love summer but the return of fall feels like rest and comfort

The Final Girl Support Group by Grady Hendrix
I have heard this title many times, always with very positive tones, & I'm ready to check it out! I'm also very ready for a book where (hopefully) the author doesn't start giving me 'weird about ladies' vibes as I go
Bonus: my mug matches

I just realized this is the first time in a long time that I finished a book even though I didn't love it
As someone who used to devour books, had years of dry spell, & is still working on getting back into actively reading regularly with varied success - this really feels like a level up for me!

Book 2 in the Ring series! Given the deviations between the American movie I'm familiar with & the 1st book, I'm curious to see how the stories diverge as the series develops
Book 2 Sadako def isn't set up for movie 2 Samara's "be my new mom" possession thing
