“Trump has pardoned more pedophiles than there are trans kids in sports” seems like all you really gotta say here
No matter how much you throw trans people under the bus, you are still going to get attacked. All you've done is betray a vulnerable minority, anger your base, and made the issue front and center.

Random medium format shit from Baku. Mostly just testing/boredom

One reason I’d like to see more Chinese EVs here is they really know how to make their models. Looking forward to this ride in a BYD Destroyer

This will probably turn out stupid, but whatever. Baku, Azerbaijan

Over the last 10 years, I have lost, on average, 60 Billion Dollars a year with B&H Photo. No more!

Just walked like half a mile on the MVT with the dogs. Got passed by upwards of 30-40 people on bikes and ZERO called their passes

Forgot my cable release so we’ll see if the film version of this shot turned out. At least my camera has a mirror lockup to minimize camera shake because the mirror of a Mamiya 645 absolutely slaps, literally

got back scans of the first roll of 35mm film through my 1964 Kiev 4 rangefinder. I bought this at a flea market in Tbilisi, Georgia years ago and just never got around to using it. I can’t believe how well this thing works given its age and how little I paid for it (it’s in exceptional condition)

First medium format scans are in! Some I had to crop and/or straighten in post because I was shooting while managing my dogs, but otherwise these are “straight out of the camera” (1957 Yashica-Mat TLR).

Tonight at dinner a younger millennial couple took photos of their food with a disposable flash camera which, having used a few disposable flash cameras in my day, doesn’t seem like it would be the ideal medium to make food look appetizing?

Slightly sped up view of clouds forming over the summit of Mt Washington, with a very brief view is the summit at the end. This is from my drone, which was like 1400ft above where I was (but still legal based on topography, I promise)
August 14, 2026 at 1:40 AM
Regrettably the only place to stay at our destination in Mt Washington is a destination hotel and the only time we could come was during the young children vacation season and let’s just say that I’m very grateful for the hotel letting us move rooms

Gotten more compliments and questions about this vintage (1957) Yashica-Mat I picked up in Quebec City a few days ago than any other thing I’ve ever owned in my life. Also, there is absolutely no better photographic sensory experience than taking a photo through a medium format viewfinder

Chopped down 360 pano of Portland. This is maybe 270 degrees @ 150 megapixels? Sunset was a little underwhelming but whatever

What if, and I’m just spitballing here, there was no actual correlation between traditional policing and public safety?

I saw so many people shooting film in Acadia but I didn’t see a single camera store or even stores selling film or other camera accessories. Feels like a business opportunity
August 10, 2026 at 6:29 PM
4 nights in Acadia and all the driving around we did added up to 220 miles (we were staying about as far away from the main park area and Bar Harbor as one can get). Paid $17 in charging fees for all that. The nice thing about a slow-traffic island is that efficiency was extremely good at 4.7 mi/kWh
