The Yorknew City arc in Hunter x Hunter is so cool because it’s three of the main characters looking on eBay for a PlayStation 1 game off screen while the fourth develops a Martial Art centered entirely around being history’s greatest hater.

I am never forgetting at the first anime con I ever went to in like 2007, there was someone selling a print of Light and L from Death Note naked and dramatically reaching toward each other across a flower and the artist put a big sticky note on it that said "NOT YAOI - SYMBOLISM"

i can't believe that people can just grab whatever part of your work they like and start a "redraw trend" nowadays. what happened to the unspoken art community rules of not stealing/tracing without permission? why does the artist have to BEG to CREDIT THEM? this's insane
hi the artist of the webtoon has explicitly requested people to at minimum leave the title with their redraws (toy daddy/toying with daddy) so please respect their wishes

Saw somebody post angrily about these Timelines toys existing, but if somebody doesn't see value in an Optimus Prime who transforms into a bull pulling a cart, I think that's a them problem
