ChiSox gave Sean Burke extra rest and now he's bulking again. Seems like he has been pitching with something going on / injury.
The results sure point to that.

(Long) Offseason topic:
Since we might not know for an extended period where a FA signs, how big a deal is it really where a player plays his home games? SF didn’t bother Devers and no ace gonna sign in SAC or Coors

Should we all start asking Claude why there are billionaires and fasciats?
Upload chapters from 1984 and Animal Farm and The Jungle…
I think we'd see a lot more urgency about regulating AI in Silicon Valley if the AI agents suddenly developed a sense of restorative justice, and instead of them threatening humanity with total extinction, they just wanted to redistribute wealth and reverse power hierarchies.

I think I could handle all of the bullshit schtick if he would just get some dentures.
He is edentulous, right? He sounds edentulous.
reminder that his folksy "aww shucks" routine is an act. this man got his law degree at oxford university (UK, not Miss.) and his undergrad at vanderbilt.

Not these ducks, these are the best ducks.
They are on R&R right now, anyway.

Soooooooo very close to getting it
Just flip your argument on its head and you’re there!
The Dodgers’ luxury tax bill alone ($180M) is now higher than the entire payroll of the Reds, Brewers, A’s, Rockies, Pirates, Twins, Nationals, White Sox, Cardinals, Rays, Guardians, and Marlins.

If you don’t think baseball has an economic problem, you’re simply not paying attention.

Musk did not just decide not to provide people with life saving aid.

He *broke the law* in order to *deny promised aid*. 1

Who is funding these guys?
We reject their sick perversion of this historic day.

We reject the very idea of claiming freedom of speech to obliterate *all* the constitutional rights of people they hate and exclude by force—via ethnic cleansing (“remigration”) or other weapons.

WE define ‘nation’. WE define ‘patriot’.
Patriot front marching from Union Station right now. White supremacist and neo-fascist organization. Cowards.

Agree.
Also, this same condition prevented him from going around the country and showing Americans what amazing work his legislation had done for them.
There was no energy behind him, and then there was the debate.
(4/4) Biden and his WH denying his condition until the disastrous June ‘24 debate and his not dropping out of the race until July contributed as much as any other factor to the Dem loss that year. And the effects of that, as we have seen, will last for decades or more.
