Finally played through this part myself after not seeing it for over two years and just...like, the character growth...the implication of Barret saying goodbye to an old friend (life), just as a real bond is sparking with a new one is so...good. I'm just really, really glad. One of my fave moments.
Annnnndddd it’s Wallace Wednesday at last!
We’re finally celebrating with one of my favorite Clarret moments in Rebirth. The vulnerability and support happening here is pure gold!
Enjoy 😭🙏🏽

The way I’m going to be be back flipping like crazy through the timelines
FFVII Revelation Director Hamaguchi confirms Cloud will be able to pull of tricks in the snowboarding minigame. It will offer more depth and variety than its OG counterpart, as well as amusing character-specific animations akin to Red XIII's chocobo riding and Vincent's coffin dive. (Famitsu 6/9)

Mm hmm 😀
FFVII Character Designer Tetsuya Nomura says he actually ended up with over 10 different versions of Cloud because he kept gradually raising the head height. And then whenever he did that, he’d go ahead and make his sword bigger, too. (GameWalker) #FF7 #CloudStrife

Oo that’s difficult considering rating vary between countries. I once saw an R-rated movie on my way to Turkey and genuinely so confused on the dialogue. Come to find out, it was censored! No profanity allowed. Makes me if games get censored too. But this is a T-Rated game so how much would they? 🤔
FFVII Remake Codirector Naoki Hamaguchi says that since they were doing a simultaneous worldwide release with this game, it took a massive amount of time and effort to ensure that what they were showing would be inoffensive in all countries and cultures. (7RU, 2020) #FF7R

They did such a good job! I was very pleased with Sephi here 🥹
FFVII Rebirth cutscene director Hidekazu Miyake says the team put an unexpected amount of work into making Sephiroth feel human in Nibelheim. The team debated how to do so, and decided to have him do things like cross his arms and pat Cloud on the back encouragingly (RbU, 2024) #FF7R #FF7 #Sephiroth

Happy Valentine’s Day!
Cloud and Aerith’s dance pose is featured as one of the top romantic moments in PS games! So I had to make use of it in an edit 🤭
